Amazon Prime's 'FALLOUT,' a gory, sci-fi thriller with a rich storyline set in a dystopian future controlled by corporations. This show, based on the popular video game, boasts high-end visuals and complex characters. Hosts Steve Manuel and Jeff Davenport discuss its compelling world-building, impressive cameos, and the moral core centered around the protagonist Lucy's journey. Despite its explicit content and intense violence, the show has flashes of old-school values amidst chaos. The review notes the juxtaposition of 1950s ideals with a shattered world, using cheeky cameos and highlighting potential viewer squirm factors like excessive language and gore.
PROS: Wildly entertaining for those with a strong stomach, outstanding world building, and surprising cameos.
CONS: Large amounts of graphic gore, some sexual scenes, lots of profanity, and unsettling characters.
CONCLUSION: Not for the family, but gather up your old army pals for some new age shoot-em-up scenes.
